Looking after a woven bag
- Wipe the weave with a barely damp cloth and let it dry away from direct heat
- Stuff the bag when you store it so the weave keeps its shape
- Keep it out of long spells of direct sun — coated finishes fade before they crack
- Do not machine wash or dry clean any of these styles
Materials
Everything here is made from vegan leather (PU) or a textile such as polyester, canvas or nylon — no animal leather is used anywhere in the range. The exact material is printed on each product page under Material, next to the measurements for every size that style comes in.

What is a woven bag made of here?
Woven vegan leather in most cases — strips of PU cut and hand-woven over a backing. A few styles use woven textile instead, such as the denim hobo and the mesh bucket bag. Each product page names the material.
Do woven bags hold their shape?
The structured ones do — woven totes, bucket bags and barrel bags are built over a firm base. Woven hobos and woven clutches are meant to slouch, so they follow whatever is inside them.
Will the weave come apart?
The strips are woven over a backing layer rather than left loose, so they do not unravel in normal use. Avoid hooking the weave on keys or zips, which is the one thing that can pull a strip out of line.
